The first stone was layed in 1722… In the heart of the charming village of Ahetze, behind the “fronton” and the Church dated from the XVI century, ‘Harretxea’ (meaning ‘house built with stones’ in basque language) has been for a long time a family farm where animals and people lived together in a simple way of life.

Fully renovated, the house comes alive today as a hotel in the Basque Country in a modern and luxurious setting. The orginal large rooms have been kept in order to provide the best comfort keeping all intimacy for its guests intact.
